Death's-Head (aka Killer Moth)

Death’s-Head is the criminal mastermind formerly known as Killer Moth. Although he considered himself to be the criminal equivalent of Batman (i.e., protecting villains from superheroes at a hefty fee), his main claim to fame is that he was the first villain ever to be defeated by Batgirl. He got tired of being a laughing-stock, so he moved to Superiro City (where there were fewer heroes), changed his name to Death’s-Head (after the moth of the same name), and prepared to become the undisputed criminal master of this less-than-thriving metropolis.

Killer Moth might have chosen a better city, for he didn’t know that it was the home of the retired superhero the Red Bee. Killer Moth once slew the Red Bee’s sidekick, a bee named Michael, who lived in his belt buckle. Death’s Head’s henchmen defeated The Red Bee in battle at the Superior City Botanical Gardens and secured for him the prized cocoons of the Cloth-of-Gold Silkworms.

Death’s-Head is obsessed with moths. He has a Moth Mansion, a Mothcave, a Mothmobile, a Mothcopter, and a girlfriend, known as Luna (after the Luna Moth, of course). All of his equipment is winged or feathery antennae when appropriate, is patterned to look like moths, and is often dusty, like the stuff that comes off a moth’s wings.
